Spam Filter

A straight message-rate limiter - too many messages too fast gets a member timed out automatically, no setup walkthrough needed.

Turning it on

$filter spam toggle
$filter spam toggle on
$filter spam toggle off

Also $filter spam on/off/enable/disable as direct shortcuts, and /filter spam toggle. No walkthrough - turning it on immediately starts enforcing with the defaults below. Bare $filter or $filter spam shows the current status.

How it works

Every member's messages are tracked in a rolling 10-second window (fixed, not configurable). Once someone crosses the message threshold within that window, they're timed out and their tracked count resets - deleting nothing, just a short "slow down" notice that removes itself after 10 seconds. Members with Manage Messages or Administrator are always exempt, in addition to any explicitly excluded roles/channels below.
