Quote Images
Turns any message into a styled quote-card image - by replying with a command, or right-clicking the message and choosing Quote.
Using it
$quote
$q
Reply to any message with $quote (or $q) to turn it into a styled image -
the author's avatar, display name, and the message text rendered as a quote card. Mentions in the
original message are resolved to real names/labels rather than showing raw IDs.
There's also a Quote entry in Discord's message right-click menu (Apps > Quote) - this one works anywhere, including DMs and servers Pixie isn't in, once you've added Pixie as a user app.
Where the image goes
$quoteconfig
Also /quoteconfig. Opens a panel to choose between two modes:
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Copy (default) | Posts the quote image in whatever channel the command was run in - the original, always-on behavior. |
| Move | Posts the image only in one configured channel, and leaves a short "sent to #channel" note behind where it was run instead. |
Move mode with no channel picked yet just behaves like Copy - nothing gets silently dropped while it's half-configured. This setting doesn't affect the Quote context menu used in DMs, since there's no server config to apply there.
